- Steve MAbsolutely the best! When my older sister started to decline from dementia, I was referred to this facility by a friend whose father was cared for by the same staff. A smaller setting was exactly what was needed for her care. 24x7 attention, custom-cooked meals, and caring staff. The facility is perfectly maintained and the cost is reasonable. Really eased my mind that she was properly cared for right up to the end of her life.
- Jennifer TMy Aunt Nancy was Paradise Valley Foothills Assisted Living’s first resident and was with them for four years until her passing mid-February 2023 at the age of 97. Aunt Nancy was slowing down, but still pretty mobile up until the very end and always had a very clear mind. I called often, since I live abroad, and she would tell me about outings they had done (more-so pre-Covid times) and the daily goings on. On the two separate occasions I was able to visit, I found a very clean and comfortable establishment. If I didn’t know it was an assisted living facility, I would’ve thought it was just a very large house. It also has a large landscaped inner courtyard which allowed Aunt Nancy to get “out”, get a bit of exercise or just to take it easy and relax in the fresh air. Ghizela and Steve, the couple who run the home are both very warm and welcoming. Their manner, both professionally and personally, reassured me that Aunt Nancy was getting the best care possible in a comfortable and res...
- Scott YThis facility does amazing job of blending resident focused flexibility and firmness for all residents. My ward in March of 2020 was in facility which suddenly was closing in 30 days. Just as we started exploring PVF, Covid hit the world and everythibg was shutting down. The PVF administrator "thread the needle" of carefully allowing a tour, making sure all was safe to accept her, and dealing with all the last minute issues that come up with a difficult resident. Previously my ward had been steadily declining and was nearing being bedbound due to refusing to cooperate with many activities. The Administrator skillfully coaxed and also used firm consequences, and now the ward has plateaued and continues to ambulate with her walker. Multiple family members would attest that it is incredible how the ward is still alive with a decent quality of life--a tribute to this facility and its staff.
